In some cases, the use of masterbatch coloring is more economical than the use of pink coloring, because the color matcher can achieve the coloring effect of higher-priced pigments through the combination of several lower-priced pigments. Masterbatch coloring is the most commonly used plastic coloring method nowadays. The colorant dispersed in the carrier is simply mixed with the native resin and used in the manufacture of plastic products.

The obvious advantages of_color masterbatch are as follows:

(1) Easy to use and no pollution to the environment.

(2) Coloring uniformity, stability, improve the quality of plastic parts.

(3) Easy to measure, and can be used in high degree of automation of forming production system.

(4) It can be used to make multi-functional masterbatch by integrating coloring, anti-aging agent and anti-static agent.

The following two phenomena should also be considered:

(1) In many cases, the pigments used by plastic products manufacturers in color matching are not the most economical, and the waste of manpower and materials is very common due to lack of familiarity with pigments. There is no problem with color masterbatches.

(2) The grades of masterbatch products and colored products are totally different, and their prices are also higher. The higher prices are often higher than the increased costs of using masterbatches, so absorbent masterbatches can create "profits". From this point of view, in some cases, the use of masterbatch coloring is more economical than the use of pink coloring.
